Panda Attack!!

This was a subtractive piece from the fundamentals of sculpture class. It was cast in plaster in a milk carton and then I carved this out of a rectangular block, except that once the plaster hardened it was very difficult to shape it at all. Consequently I bought a power drill to finish it. Because I loved being covered in white dust and spending hours with a drill and carving tools, this is now Belligerent Panda Sitting on a Lily Pad Smoking a Pink Mushroom.

Admission Portfolio for LCAD

These pieces are from my admission portfolio LCAD (Laguna College of Art and Design) starting in the Fall of 2008. Transferred from UCLA to go to art school (go bruins!!) I am currently an illustration major with a graphic design emphasis, possibly pursuing either a minor in drawing in painting or a minor in animation. At this moment I'm a first semester junior.
